Germans love American cars. So much so that Ford's European arm entrusts them with the construction of its golden child, the successful Fiesta compact. And for a growing number of German tuning outfits, it's all about American muscle. One such tuner is Fichtenberg, Germany based KW Suspension, who has collaborated with importer Geiger Cars to create this unique black on black 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Not only does the American bred car sport a bespoke hydraulic handling package, but also some trendy (or not so much, depending upon your taste) Lamborghini styled scissor doors and hand crafted, American-made 22-in. HRE wheels. Featured on the Challenger is the newly released KW Hydraulic Lift System (HLS) suspension that allows drivers to lift and drop the car while on the fly. It's two-way adjustable (rebound and dampening), and combined with the company's traditional coilover racing setup, the KW Challenger likely has a stiffer, more competent suspension ride than what comes from the factory. How about those doors? Well, the German tuners also have a thing for putting Lambo style doors on anything from Hummers to Ferraris. Mind you, it isn't a trend limited to the country, just a reoccurring Deutschland theme that hasn't seemed to stop over the last few years. While the controversial doors "help" out styling when getting in and out, the three-piece HRE wheels attract attention all the time. The 22-in. 995R model lightweight (for their size) forged wheels feature a brushed finished on the center piece, as well as a color matched deep lip giving the set a different take on aftermarket wheel coloring.
