Jacques Joseph Charles Villeneuve is a Canadian automobile racing driver, born April 9, 1971 in St-Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. Jacques Villeneuve is notable for winning the 1995 CART Championship, the 1995 Indianapolis 500 and the 1997 Formula One Championship. Villeneuve has taken on two new careers: in sportscar racing, racing for Peugeot in the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans and jumping to NASCAR in August 2007.
